Star ACS

The StarACS (Automatic Configuration Server) is a scalable solution that offers unified management of multi-vendor WiMAX CPEs in OPEN WiMAX networks. StarACS supports “zero touch” installation, auto-provisioning and remote control of WiMAX CPEs, such as WiMAX residential gateways (RGWs) with WiFi, data and VoIP capabilities, as well as any fixed or nomadic TR-069 (Technical Report 069)-supported devices. The StarACS Web Services Northbound Interface enables easy integration with higher-level management systems, such as OSS and Network Management System (NMS) platforms.

StarACS introduces a service-oriented approach that covers the entire CPE service life cycle, enabling service providers and carriers to significantly reduce OPEX and shorten time-to-market for the roll-out of new services.
